Mike Lopinski, C.A.
Mike began his career in public accounting with the firm in 1986 and graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in the Co-op Accounting program. He obtained the designation of Chartered Accountant in 1990 and was admitted as partner into the firm in 1999. Mike has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ In-Depth Tax course, In-Depth GST course and In-Depth PST course.
Mike provides accounting, auditing, tax and business advisory services to a broad range of clients but has extensive knowledge and experience with Canadian Tire Store operations. He spends considerable time in the area of retirement and corporate planning and serves as the firm’s main resource for commodity tax issues.
Mike volunteers for various youth sports and enjoys golfing. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the St. Catharines Minor Hockey Association and is acting as their treasurer.
